Camelot Playstation Units

Camelot Playstation units had been exactly the same for years, and they were looking for an innovative solution to attract more attention and enhance campaign activity. Any solution needed to be cost effective; no item could be "stuck" to the unit; and items needed to fit within existing mailing packs.

1. Issue

Camelot Playstation units had been exactly the same for years, and they were looking for an innovative solution to attract more attention and enhance campaign activity. Any solution needed to be cost effective; no item could be "stuck" to the unit; and items needed to fit within existing mailing packs.

2. Goal

To develop an additional item that could be added to the Playstation Unit

It was crucial to ensure that the removal process was handled swiftly and effectively to minimize risks. Margery also expressed a preference for eco-friendly methods to ensure the safety of her family and the environment, which added an extra layer of complexity to the task.

3. Solution

The "Tax Disc Topper" utilised space above one of the existing POS sections on the unit. We developed prototypes that showed how this could be attached to the unit. The solution we developed fitted over 2 screws already on the unit and avoided the need for any form of adhesive. The item was produced and cut from a simple die and would fit within current mailing packs. These have since been used in multiple campaigns and are a regular feature on Camelot'sPlaystation units.
